Faith-Led Somatic Intensives for Women in Leadership

A dedicated space to lay down what you’ve been carrying and receive the care you so often offer others.

Faith-led somatic and EMDR therapy intensives for women in leadership in Orlando, Florida

As a woman in leadership, you are used to being the one who shows up.

The one people turn to for wisdom, prayer, and steadiness.
The one who holds space for difficult conversations and tender stories.

You care deeply about the people God has entrusted to you.

Some women carry that calling from a stage, teaching or leading publicly. Others carry it more quietly—meeting with younger women over coffee, praying with someone after church, or showing up faithfully in the small moments where people need guidance and care.

However it shows up in your life, you carry a deep sense of responsibility for others.

For you, leadership isn’t just a role you hold—it’s a stewardship of the calling you carry.

And stewardship can be beautiful.

But it can also become heavy.

Somewhere along the way, it may have become difficult to find a place where you can safely lay those burdens down.

Faith-Led Somatic Intensives create intentional space for women in leadership to step away for a time—to slow down, tend to their own story, and experience healing that allows them to return to their life and calling renewed.

You Know You Need Space… But Life Doesn’t Slow Down That Easily

You are dependable.

People trust you.
They come to you when they need wisdom, prayer, or perspective.

You take that responsibility seriously because you care deeply about the people God has entrusted to you.

You want to lead with integrity.
You want your life to reflect the truth you teach.
You want to show up fully for the people you love.

But the pace of caring for others can quietly begin to take its toll.

You may notice yourself:

  • holding the weight of other people’s stories long after the conversation ends

  • feeling stretched between ministry, family, leadership responsibilities, and the expectations you place on yourself

  • knowing you need space to rest or process, but unsure where that space could realistically exist

  • longing for more peace and margin, but unsure how to slow down without letting people down

So you keep showing up.

You keep serving.
You keep caring well for the people around you.

But somewhere inside, you may sense that something in your own story is asking for attention too.

A Different Kind of Space

For many women who care deeply for others, the idea of stepping away can feel complicated.

Not because you don’t value rest or discernment.

But because the rhythms of your life have been shaped around showing up, staying strong, and being available for the people who depend on you.

Over time, it can become difficult to imagine what real space for your own healing might even look like.

Faith-Led Somatic Intensives are designed to create that space.

Not as another responsibility to manage or another thing to accomplish.

But as a set-apart time where you can step out of the constant pace of caring for others and tend to your own story with care, wisdom, and support.

Throughout Scripture, the wilderness was often the place where God met His people most clearly.

Away from the noise.
Away from the pressure to perform.

A place where deeper truth could surface and where hearts could be restored.

A Faith-Led Somatic Intensive offers a similar kind of space.

A place to slow down long enough to listen again—to your body, to your story, and to the quiet ways God may be inviting healing and renewal.

What Becomes Possible When You Finally Make Space

When women who care deeply for others finally make space to tend to their own story, something begins to shift.

Not because they try harder.

But because they finally have the time and support to listen to what their body, their heart, and the Holy Spirit have been holding for a long time.

During a Faith-Led Somatic Intensive, many women begin to experience:

  • relief from the emotional and spiritual weight they’ve been quietly carrying for others

  • greater clarity about the patterns in their story that shape how they lead, serve, and care for people

  • renewed connection with their body’s signals, helping them recognize when they need rest, support, or boundaries

  • space to listen more clearly for the Holy Spirit’s guidance without the constant noise of responsibility

  • freedom from the quiet pressure to hold everything together on their own

  • a deeper sense of alignment between their faith, their calling, and their everyday life

Because often there is a difference between knowing the truth and living from it.

Often there is a difference between knowing the truth and living from it.

This work creates space for that truth to move from something you understand in your mind to something you begin to embody in your life and leadership.

Creating that kind of space requires more than a short conversation or a few moments of rest—it requires intentional time set apart for deeper healing.

How a Faith-Led Somatic Intensive Works

A Faith-Led Somatic Intensive is an extended, focused time set aside for deeper healing work.

Instead of meeting for short weekly sessions, we create a dedicated container where you can slow down and gently explore what your body, story, and faith have been holding for a long time.

This work integrates somatic therapy and EMDR with a faith-centered perspective, allowing the healing process to honor both your nervous system and your relationship with God.

Rather than rushing through meaningful work week by week, the intensive format allows us to move more deeply—with care, intention, and support.

What the Intensive Experience Looks Like:

Each Faith-Led Somatic Intensive is intentionally designed so you feel prepared, supported, and grounded throughout the process.

Your experience typically includes:

A pre-intensive consultation (60 minutes) to clarify your goals, explore what you’d like to focus on, and thoughtfully prepare for the work ahead.

A personalized preparation workbook with reflective prompts and exercises to help you identify the experiences, patterns, or questions you want to bring into the intensive. Many women find this preparation helps them enter the intensive feeling focused, prepared, and ready to make meaningful use of the time.

A dedicated intensive session (3–6 hours) where we move at a pace that honors both your nervous system and your story, integrating approaches such as somatic work, EMDR, or Brainspotting as appropriate.

An integration session afterward to reflect on what surfaced during the intensive and discern how the insights and healing can continue shaping your life and leadership.

A personalized summary and follow-up resources so you don’t have to worry about capturing everything during the session. This allows you to stay fully present while still leaving with clear takeaways and guidance for your next steps.

Every intensive is customized to your story, your faith, and the kind of healing your body and heart are ready for.

You Are Welcome to Take Space Here

When you care deeply for others, it can become natural to keep showing up, keep serving, and keep holding space for the people who rely on you.

You do it because you love them.
Because you believe in the work you’ve been called to do.
Because leadership often asks that of you.

But even the most faithful leaders need moments where they can step out of the constant rhythm of responsibility and tend to their own story.

A Faith-Led Somatic Intensive offers dedicated time set apart—a space where you are welcome to slow down, breathe, and gently listen to what your body, your heart, and your faith may be asking for.

Not with pressure.
Not with expectations.

Just space to notice what has been quietly waiting for your attention.

Many women discover that when they finally allow themselves this kind of space, something inside begins to soften.

And from that place, deeper clarity, peace, and restoration can begin to unfold.

Faith-Led Somatic Intensive FAQs

You may still have a few practical questions as you consider whether an intensive might be right for you. Here are answers to some of the most common ones.

  • Faith-Led Somatic Intensives are especially helpful when something feels significant, layered, or difficult to fully address within the rhythm of weekly therapy.

Many women seek this kind of space when they are navigating ministry burnout, unresolved trauma, leadership stress, major life transitions, or patterns from their story that continue to shape their relationships and calling.

An intensive simply creates the time and support to slow down and tend to these areas with care and intention.

  • Intensives are typically offered in either a one-day or three-day format.

A one-day intensive includes approximately three hours of focused therapy, along with preparation and follow-up integration sessions.

A three-day intensive offers nine hours of therapy across several days, allowing for a slower pace and deeper integration of the work.

During your consultation, we can talk together about which option might best support what you’re hoping to address.

  • Weekly therapy can be deeply supportive, but the one-hour format sometimes limits how much space there is to explore complex experiences.

An intensive creates a dedicated container for deeper work, allowing us to stay with a process long enough for meaningful insight, emotional processing, and integration to unfold.

Many women find that this focused time helps create momentum in areas that have felt difficult to move through in shorter sessions.

  • Faith-Led Somatic Intensives integrate several trauma-informed approaches that support healing at both the emotional and nervous-system level.

Depending on your needs, our work may include EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic practices, narrative and story-centered work, and faith-integrated reflection.

Rather than focusing on a single technique, the goal is to create the right conditions for meaningful healing and integration.

  • Yes. Many people participate in an intensive alongside their ongoing therapy.

With your written permission, I can coordinate with your therapist by sharing a brief summary of the work we’ve done so they can continue supporting your progress afterward.

This often helps create continuity between the intensive and your ongoing care.

  • No. Many women begin working with me through an intensive.

The consultation simply gives us an opportunity to talk about what you’ve been carrying and discern whether an intensive would be a supportive next step for your current season.

  • Yes. Intensives can be offered virtually through secure telehealth.

Some women prefer the flexibility of meeting from home, while others choose to travel for an in-person experience. During your consultation we can talk through which format might best support your needs.

  • I operate as a private-pay practice, which means I do not bill insurance directly for any services, including intensives.

If you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance provider, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit for potential reimbursement. During your consultation, we can also talk through whether this may be an option for your specific plan.

If you’re exploring ways to make the investment more manageable, I do accept CareCredit, and I am currently looking into additional financing options to increase access.

In some situations, I’m also open to discussing a payment plan, as long as the balance is paid in full prior to the intensive.

If you have questions about payment or reimbursement, we can always talk through those together during your consultation.
