Extended sessions allow us to move beyond surface-level conversation and into deeper therapeutic work without feeling rushed.
This is especially important for modalities like EMDR and Brainspotting, where having adequate time supports more complete processing.
-
Longer sessions can allow for:
Deeper emotional processing
Greater continuity within each session
A stronger sense of completion
More meaningful progress over time, rather than starting and stopping each week
-
Extended sessions are often a good fit if you’re looking for deeper, more focused work or feel ready to move beyond insight into lasting change.
Many of my clients are driven, self-aware women who have already done a significant amount of therapy and know where they feel stuck. They’re not looking to start over—they’re looking for meaningful movement.
Longer sessions create the space to go deeper without the stop-and-start of traditional sessions. Instead of spending time opening and closing each week, we’re able to stay with the work long enough for more complete processing to occur.
Many clients find that this allows for more progress within each session and a greater sense of momentum over time.

My practice is primarily virtual (with the exception of intensives which are available in-person in Orlando, FL).
Working virtually allows me to see clients throughout Florida and Georgia. My clients have been surprised with how effective virtual therapy can be.

I offer therapy sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 3:30pm.
EMDR Intensives are offered at different times and are booked in advance.

The short answer is do not accept insurance.
All of my services are private pay. Clients can pay with a credit card, FSA, or HSA.
I can provide you with a detailed receipt, a super bill, for you file with directly with your insurance.
You may be eligible for out-of-network (OON) reimbursement from your insurance for counseling services. Since every provider and policy is different, I recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your card and speak to a representative for details about your specific plan.

Therapy intensives are longer, focused blocks of time designed to support deeper, more accelerated work.
While extended sessions allow for meaningful progress over time, intensives create the space to fully immerse in the process without the interruptions of weekly scheduling. This can be especially helpful if you’re looking to work through a specific issue, feel ready for a deeper level of change, or want to make significant progress in a shorter period of time.
Some clients choose intensives when they feel stuck, are navigating a life transition, or simply prefer a more focused and efficient approach to their healing.
If you’re unsure whether an intensive or extended sessions would be the best fit, we can talk through your goals and determine what level of support would serve you most.

People mean very different things by the term “Christian Counselor”.
If you are asking about whether I use the Bible in session to tell you what to do, judge you, pray with clients as part of therapy, etc- the answer is NO.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Florida and Georgia and offer evidence-based practices.
I do not offer Bible only Counseling.
If you are asking if I am a follower of Jesus and a Professional Counselor, then the answer is yes. As a professional counselor, I am able to integrate Faith and faith-based approaches, meditations and exercises as much as the client requests.

Short answer is, if you don’t want it, we won’t go there.
You get to decide how much, if any faith based interventions or conversations come into our work. This is your time.
Most of my clients identify as Christians (in various denominations and in various places with their faith journeys), and want to engage with their beliefs and acknowledge their spiritual values as we work.

Yes, While I don't specialize in serving minorities and the LGBTQ community, I have experience serving a diverse population.
As a first-generation Latina immigrant, I understand that for those who have experienced trauma, racism, and discrimination for reasons such as skin color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and spiritual beliefs, it will take longer to build trust.
And I am here for as long as you need to feel safe or ask for what you need (even if it’s a referral to another provider)!
For therapy to be effective, it is critical to connect and feel safe with your therapist. I want you to be able to show up as your messy, brilliant, glorious, and unfiltered self in our sessions.
To help you get comfortable, I practice showing up with authenticity, and honesty and earning the right to hear your story. Practicing what I teach (integrity) is an are core value of mine and I will show up as myself in our work and will invite you to do the same.
