EMDR & Somatic Therapy through Extended Sessions
In-person in Orlando · Online across Florida & Georgia

You don’t have to keep carrying this alone.

This work is designed to give you enough time to slow down, tend to your story, and move through what keeps resurfacing—so it stops driving patterns you already understand but haven’t been able to shift.

Especially supportive for women in leadership, ministry, and helping professions who are ready for a more focused approach.

Life doesn’t slow down

You handle one thing, only for something else to show up right behind it.

You’re the one people turn to—and you’ve always found a way to carry it.

But this time, it feels heavier.

You’re tired of patching things up and hoping they hold.

Do these sound like you?

  • Promising yourself you’ll stay calmer next time… and then snapping again—followed by guilt, impatience, and resentment.

  • Relationships that feel one-sided or unfulfilling, leaving a quiet sense of disconnection—even from people you love.

  • Wondering if there’s a deeper reason your body keeps reacting or symptoms keep flaring, despite doing everything “right.”

  • Recognizing the patterns clearly—yet still finding yourself in the same responses.

  • Knowing the concepts. Reading the books. Listening to the podcasts—while your body and emotions still feel out of sync.

  • Even when life looks fine on the outside, your body still feels tense, wired, or exhausted.

  • A longing for something deeper—peace you actually live. Embodied peace. Shalom.

Faith-Based Somatic & EMDR Therapy for women

Let’s be honest—you’ve already tried to fix this.

You told yourself to “forgive and forget” or “just let it go.”
And when that didn’t work—not because you failed, but because that’s not how healing works—you tried everything else.

Journaling. Prayer. Podcasts. Books. Talk therapy.

You’ve gathered insight.
You understand what’s going on.

But your body hasn’t caught up.

And you’re tired of talking about the problem.

You want change.

Ready to get to the root—and finally feel real relief?

You're in the right place.

Hi, I’m Rebeca.

I work with high-functioning women who have tried all the “right” things—talk therapy, books, prayer—but still feel stuck.

You may feel disconnected from your body, constantly overwhelmed, or dealing with chronic stress or health issues that don’t seem to resolve.

Sometimes, you even know exactly why something is happening… but your body still reacts the same way.

That’s a sign you’re ready to move beyond insight and into real transformation.

Real change doesn’t happen by circling the same conversations.
It happens when there’s enough space to stay with what’s underneath—and actually work through it.

In my practice, I offer EMDR and somatic therapy through extended sessions (90–120 minutes)—so we have the time to do exactly that.

I’ll meet you there—without slowing you down or staying on the surface.

If you’ve been doing the work and still feel stuck, the issue isn’t effort.

It’s that the structure hasn’t given you enough space to actually move through what’s underneath.

If you’ve been doing the work and still aren’t seeing change,

it’s not an effort problem—it’s the structure.

Here’s how this work is designed:

This is how work unfolds

Consultation

Start with a free 20-minute consultation on Zoom or phone.

We’ll talk through what’s coming up and get a sense of whether this approach feels like the right fit.

You don’t have to know exactly what you need—I’ll guide you through it.

My goal is to make sure you leave with a clear next step, even if that means a referral.

Extended Sessions

This is where things start to shift.

Extended sessions give us the time to stay with what comes up—
so we’re not just talking about it, we’re working through it.

Many clients find that meeting in longer, focused sessions—often monthly—allows for deeper work without having to fit therapy into their week.

Experience Change

This is where things start to feel different.

We meet, you practice what we work on, and over time, old patterns begin to quiet.

You may notice yourself responding differently, feeling more settled, and having more space for what actually matters.

Not all at once—but in a way that builds.

You’re ready to approach this differently.

Not more insight— Enough time to actually move through what’s been staying unresolved.

A consultation is a simple place to talk through what’s coming up and see if this approach feels like the right fit.
