Investment

I understand that counseling is an investment of time and finances. If you are ready to invest in yourself, and make time and space for your healing here are the details.

Here are the logistics:

Time: Most clients meet weekly for 50 minutes sessions. The weekly sessions often last about 6-8 sessions, then move to every other week for a while and then shift to as needed. Longer sessions or twice weekly session may be available.

Cost: My fee is $175 per 50 minute session ($315 for 90 minute session and $350 for 100 minute session). All major credit cards (including Health Savings accounts) accepted.

Third-party billing: If your church or organization will be paying for a portion of your counseling costs, please let me or know so we can complete the needed paperwork.

Insurance: I am an Out-Of-Network provider and do not file with insurance companies.I can provide clients with a detailed receipt (called a super bill) that can be filed with directly with your insurance company.

Here is a quick overview:

  • Depending on your individual plan, you may be eligible for out-of-network (OON) reimbursement from your insurance for counseling services and you can take the detailed receipt (super bill) provided and file directly with your insurance.

  • Some clients have successfully used their Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for counseling sessions and intensives.

  • In an effort to increase access to mental health care, I have partnered with Care Credit. Learn more about options financing options with Care Credit here.

  • Intensives are structured and priced differently than ongoing sessions. For information on intensive options, packages and fees, visit the EMDR Intensives page. Looking for the cost of the intensives? Find that information here
