Extended EMDR & Somatic Therapy Sessions
A more focused, intentional approach to therapy. Designed to create meaningful movement within each session, while still fitting within the rhythm of your daily life.
You may already know you need something more
You’ve likely spent time reflecting, processing, and trying to understand what’s been coming up in your life.
You may have done therapy before.
Or you’ve done your own work in other ways.
And still, something in your story is asking for more space.
Not just space to talk.
Space to actually move through it.
At the same time, stepping away for multiple days may not feel realistic in this season.
Your life is full.
You carry responsibility.
And your time matters.
A different rhythm for deeper work
Extended sessions offer a different way of approaching therapy. They create enough time within each session for meaningful work to unfold and move forward.
Instead of working within shorter windows of time, we create space to stay with what’s emerging. Long enough to understand it, process it, and begin to shift it.
There is less starting and stopping.
Less need to revisit the same threads week after week.
We stay with what’s unfolding long enough for it to begin to shift. This often creates a more direct sense of movement within the work.
From insight to integration
You may already understand your patterns on a cognitive level. You know where they come from and why they exist.
But insight alone does not typically create change.
Extended sessions create space to move from collecting information to actually connecting the pieces. This allows the work to take hold in a more embodied and lasting way.
And your time matters.
Why session duration matters
Often, meaningful work begins just as a session is coming to a close.
Extended sessions allow us to stay with what’s emerging. There is no need to pause and return to it later.
Because of this, the work tends to unfold in a more connected and complete way.
Over time, many clients experience:
a greater sense of momentum in their work
more clarity around patterns, responses, and internal dynamics
the ability to move through experiences rather than circling them
This approach supports depth while still fitting within the rhythm of your life.
What extended sessions look like
Sessions are scheduled in longer blocks of time. This allows for a more intentional pace and deeper focus.
This work may include:
EMDR therapy to process and resolve past experiences
somatic work to support regulation, awareness, and integration
space to explore patterns, beliefs, and internal responses with care and clarity
Each session is guided by what is most present and relevant for you, while also holding a clear direction for the work as a whole.
Who this is for
Extended sessions are a good fit for women who:
are ready to engage their work more directly
are looking for more than surface-level or maintenance-based therapy
value using their time with intention and focus
want to move through patterns, not just understand them
are balancing full lives and need therapy to work with that reality
How this differs from Therapy intensives
Some clients choose to step into a more immersive, set-apart format through therapy intensives.
Extended sessions offer a different kind of container.
They allow for depth and continuity over time while still creating enough space within each session for meaningful movement.
Both approaches are designed to support intentional, focused work.
The difference is in how that time is structured.
Investment
Extended sessions are offered in longer blocks of time to support deeper, more focused work.
90-minute session: $375
2-hour session: $500
Because this work creates space for more focused and continuous progress within each session, many clients experience this as a more intentional way of investing both their time and resources.
Getting started is simple, here are the next steps.
If you’re considering whether this approach might be a good fit, a consultation is a helpful place to start.
It is a space to talk through what you’re looking for, explore what kind of support might be most helpful, and see what feels aligned for you in this season.
